ECC works with DC-area youth to hands-on environmental education, job training and community service programs while working on environmental issues plaguing the Anacostia River and its surrounding areas. Currently, ECC is increasing awareness of raptor conservation efforts through our Anacostia Raptor Watch and Nest Monitoring Programs while also restoring wetlands along Diamond Teague Park, helping maintain several DOEE Trash Traps, and implementing additional environmental education programs using the ECO-Schools learning framework.
