Earth Conservation Corps (ECC) works with youth in the DC area to provide hands-on environmental education, job training, and community service opportunities while addressing environmental issues affecting the Anacostia River and its surrounding areas. Currently, ECC is expanding awareness of raptor conservation through its Anacostia Raptor Watch and Nest Monitoring programs. In addition, the organization is restoring wetlands at Diamond Teague Park, helping maintain several DOEE trash traps, and implementing environmental education initiatives using the ECO-Schools learning framework.
